Campina Grande

Located 120 km from João Pessoa, the capital of Paraíba, Campina Grande is the second largest economic center of the state, being the warehouse distributor for several cities of Paraíba and the Northeast because of its strong representation in various sectors: from industry to trade, from the provision of services to the tourism and culture, from education to technology production.

One of the attractions that characterize the city of Campina Grande as a territory differentiated and conducive to innovation is the presence of abundant and skilled labor. The city hosts around 50.000 students enrolled in sixteen public and private higher education institutions (the city with proportionally more universities in Brazil), more than 3500 students enrolled in certificate programs and training courses, and 2.700 postgraduate students, enrolled in 58 postgraduate programs (21 MBA programs, 35 master’s programs and 16 doctoral programs) . A brand of the city is the presence of a doctor for every 692 inhabitants.
